ylexot – I totally understand your point-of-view on the panel lines. Here’s my justification–just for the flip side of the argument. It makes it look less like a shiny one-piece-mold of plastic, and a little more… intricate? The average observer isn’t sure if that’s one piece of plastic… or does that body maybe have a seperate hood? If you do it right,it can really shine.Besides, with the line thickness of the pen only at 0.2 mm, it’s not like a big, neon sign flashing from 20 feet away saying “This Guy Filled In His Lines With A Pen.” Of course, if I was trying to make it look like some sort of fiberglass racing body, I’d probably fill in the panel lines with putty and paint over them. Who knows.
That’s the beauty of individual expression–each person does what works best for them.
