Is it just me, or do others experience timeouts while trying to get to this web site ?
Can’t be my ISP, because it happens to be at both home and work.

This has been happening quite often for the past 2 weeks or so, but probably worse today.
I don’t believe it’s because of site maintenance. Feels more like a timeout issue with IIS…

It’s actually not anythign I’m doing. The timeouts are happening becuase the box that runs ausmicro.com is slightly ‘overloaded’ from time to time.
Unfortunately becuase we share the box with around (probably well over) 200 other sites it’s hard to point fingers.
I have costed moving to a ‘semi-dedicated’ server and it is in the pipeline if we can afford it.

I ahve no hassles posting most of the time, just getting onto the site can take 10 minutes sometimes… gotta wonder if I was right when I said it’d be due to heavy traffic… there’s not many users on at the moment… No biggie… I get here in the end I guess…:smiley2:

As I said – it’s not the ausmicro.com site specifically that’s havign the problem but the computer we run on.
I would like to see this change in the future so we’re far more protected but well we just need to see how things go.

i don’t mind the time outs really, i think it’s the reason why we don’t have too many impatient kiddies here!:8ball:

It was pretty bad today, between 1pm and 2pm, this site appeared to be down not responding to any browser requests…
oh well, guess I shouldn’t be browsing from work…
