Futaba has made a 1/24 scale indy car racer…it’s quite rare but stock is said to be faster than mini-zf1. I’d go with Mini-z F1 tho. Just a word of advice, the minizf1 groved tires wear out VERY quickly.

The 1:43 F1 at Toyeast is fairly good, I think. I ordered & tried one out. Good speed, NICE looks and good controller. If you want F1 at a descent price, go for it!

Yeah, it steers using the front wheels.
I agree with you, let?s skip this Ferrari stuff for a while…

The front wheels look plastic. How does it handle? Is the range good? I have a lot of questions before I spend 40 USD to get mine and my brothers. 🙂

Oh great. My brother is ordering the Ferrari.

The wheels are soft plastic, like the BCG cars. They handle quite well and they do need quite some space, remember, we?re talking 1:43 scale here, not BCG!
Say you?re building a track on the living room floor, well then you?re OK. BUT, if you?re thinking of using your microtrack or the kitchen table, forget it.

Yeah really! Just some FET modded SE electronics and Li-Poly. You will need some serious space then! Can they drive on carpet? I don’t really care that much but I know Super Slicks can. What is the range like and runtime as well? Thanks for answering all my questions!

BTW The shipping is almost 20 USD. I was rounding up it is actually 36 USD something.

The F1 cars will definetely NOT drive on carpet. Man, that would be like a fullsize F1 car driving the sandbarriers outside the tracks! Works for some sec, but then you?ll have to renovate the car…
About the range and runtime I have no good answers. I opened the box, plugged in some batteries, charged the car and drove it around my kitchen/hall. Then I gently took out the batteries and placed the car back into the box. Why? Because I have nowhere to drive it, no-one to race with and just was curious about the F1 racers.
The next thing was I put the 2 cars I?d ordered out for auction, and hey, now they?re gone!

D*mn, i realise now that i could?ve help out more people by doing surgery to the poor F1 car. have to remember that the next time :smiley2:
