      Hey,

Can anybody suggest a good diff fluid for a 1/10 2wd Nitro buggy?

I usually drive on dusty hard pack track or ashphalt or grass, and would like to see an improvement over tamiya ceramic grease. The performance on ashphalt and grass is less critical as they are both high traction surfaces.

Also, what would be a good spring/fluid combo for dusty hardpack clay???

Unless you have a diff designed for fluids with oil seals on all the shafts & openings, you can’t use silicone diff fluids.

      Try thick axle grease.

Tamiya Ceramic grease leaves it as loose as it gets, so does Tamiya Moly. The best one so far for diffs is Tamiya AW grease but it comes in a tiny 3g tube for $10.

My diff is a sealed one, so fluids would be ok.
