I hope your kidding mocky.
I did see somewhere where they had a REAL 1.1:1 scale BCG type R/C car, even came with display case, with charging stand, took like 200 D batteries or something and went 18km/h, cost something like 11,000 USD and had a diecast body.

i hope you are kidding jamie!
junkyard wars on foxtell had an ep. that two teams built and destroyed full scale cars that had radio gear built into them to control steering and throttle. they fixed pointy weapons onto them and armour plating and let rip at each other in a deep and large dry dam.
the pics are done very well, i think i’ll have to stop beleiving what i see from now on:smiley2:

They dont look like remote control cars to me, Or is that just a joke Kitty…
They have a steering wheel with someone behind the wheel >driving.I would say they would have a power plant of a quad bike at most or a 4 stroke mower engine at least…
Maybe a 2 litre like those ausse miniture race cars that they race as a support catagory with the V8’s
The vette looks like its carrying some real speed, I like corvette’s…What was the power plant of that 1:1 Camry remote control project

I was going by what uA said, but just think about it, who would create half a dozen cars for people with no legs, just look at the pics, there is NO leg room. therefore I say it’s a photochop!
-
January 10, 2005 at 7:09 am #22876
Did anybody say they were photoshop dummys,
From the sorce No, Its just speculation from uA, Unless he knows diffrent, I know retouch and it dont loook like it and like i said think about the 2 litre ausse miniture race cars that they race as a support catagory with the V8’s.Hmmm, think about the leg room in one of those !!!
I stand by my statement, and as you are going of what another person has said it proves you know nothing about it as do i therefore should have not quoted me and said nothing and suck with your joke about the Tx
You know what that duct tapes for
And as you were the person i think who posted the topic on the Camry1:1 remote control, Can you refer too my Question please ?!!!
Cheers Jamie :smiley2:

These are some really high quality photoshop work here. Except the hand on the steering wheel in the first pic, that had been shrinked with the car.
-
January 10, 2005 at 2:06 pm #22871
good grief… touched up just a bit eh?:smiley2: Jamie; ignore it. It’ll keep going otherwise

Jeeeeez you guys, I am beginning to wonder why I bothered posting up these pics if all you are going to do is bitch and moan at each other and spoil everyone’s fun.

I haven’t seen it myself, but Aaron was saying something about the guys on the aus-cartalk forums doing the photoshopping to their cars and apparently there are pics and how to’s n stuff.
Don’t quote me on that.
I will ask Aaron later on for a linky link.
Besides, my car is already small enough!!!!!!

someone mentioned this earlier but ill say it again because i have seen em, there is a racing class of modified 1 seater cars that look very simmilar but these pics are definatly photoshoped (or whatever program they used).
the ones they race dont have the polish of these pics and if you were on the track with suped up dodgem cars would you be bothered with detailing them up so nicely:smiley2:
-
February 3, 2005 at 5:29 pm #21579
I don’t doubt you can by them as boutiuqe novelties 😉 but for the most part Photoshop is a great tool. Someone posted on another forum two pics before and after… I’ll dig them up…
In the mean time…
