I’m sure Kitty will beg borrow or whatever a digicam and share some pix in good time! *grins* Maybe I should create a new forum called “Show us your bits!”

      There’s a GOOD REASON for this, J.

Becoz after a restaurant skins & cooks them – usually in a steamed soup, they use lotsa chicken stock (aka “superior soup”) in there anyway. Same as when they double-boil your sharksfin soups; it *all* tastes like chicken.

If you’re really seriously looking for it… ask for “possum”, “squirrel”or “musang” soup. We all just know the truth…

Personally I’d just prefer KFC, but having heard stories from their processing centres… just don’t be too sure “it” don’t happen there either.

Yum! You won’t starve during the war, then :smiley2:- “bush chicken” (you read much history?).

Don’t joke about food, man. The chinese will eat anything with 4 legs, bar the table. :smiley9:Its a man-eat-dog world, matey!! :smiley15:

Yeah guys I think we all know the eating of domestic animals goes on and all that – I don’t think that’s a bad thing – it ain’t my bag but hey it’s better than eating me 🙂

But for those with weaker constitutions can we slip a little closer back onto the topic at hand 😉

Heh heh… too bad if ppl take offence to the truth.

But had hoped you would had noticed… I *am* chinese…!! :smiley3:

Have nothing to hide; personally I don’t see any difference between a meal of Skippy, Bambi, Babe or Daisy vs Teddy, Rover & Fluffy. Don’t see what the drama is all about… ppl are just blind to their own preconceived convictions imho. Chinese (as in, those in ruralChina) historically both keep dogs for food and use as guard dogs, companionship too maybe.

Anyone heard of Wierd Al Yankovic’s “Cats in the Kettle” song? :smiley3:

That said, Chinatown “specials” not quite to my taste either (I’d prefer KFC, preferably Hot-n-Spicy anytime). More so being “special” on the menu means its always pricey… and methinks cheap food always tastes better anyway.

If you wanna be really grossed out… go watch a Twisties factory!! :smiley11:

      Hey… where’s our galpal Kitty lately ??? :smiley8:

Saw the same – No, that’s not the chinese, that’s the Koreans. Like, in Seoul where I think they heldsome Games meet recently.

Yeah, they seem to like their food mashed and battered… :smiley11:, no I don’t like kimchee.

Red CHEESE only for me thanks, I don’t trust “chicken”. :smiley1:

Why, what happened here? I love BBQ Meat Lovers at PizzaHut… although I swear their standards have droppedover the last 10+ yrs.

My local PH served me up a bug (one of those ~1.5cm brown beetlely crawly types) half-embedded in the crust a few years ago. I think I still got the evidence stuck at the back of my freezer.

Didn’t go back to any PH too often after that.

Ugh, I just muched a pkt of Smiths “Chicken”… I sure dunno WHAT they tasted like, :smiley13:but it didn’t taste good at all. Just S&V or Original for me the next time.

Hey!! I’m in Canberra too!! Whereabouts in Canberra are you? If I were to recommend a first Bit, I’d saystart offwith whatever car takes your fancy, and then buy the body sets to dress up your chassis. Personally, I’d recommend a Skyline, because they rule!! Compact Char-G sets come with 2.2 motors, so you might want to take that into consideration. Also, wait till the 7th. Only one more day to go……….

I’m also considering purchasing a Mini-Z. What are they like? Lots of maintenance?

Well hello fellow frozen car lover!!!!

I agree I do like the GTR’s especially as I have driven real ones, they kick ass! I was very impressed with the automodellista sets, with four shells, the supra was particularly cute…. OMG, did I just say cute?????

Sorry fella’s!!! Have slapped myself about the face and head several times to snap myself out of it!!!!

*Deep Breath* Now where was I…..???????

I have been having a look at some of the new release MiniZ’s on kyosho.co.jp and there are some nice looking cars coming up soon *drools*

Current shape Supra’s, nsx’s, skylines, corvettes, ptcruisers *blerk* and off course the MiniZ offroaders *Tim the Toolman Gruff Gruff Gruff*

Auto Modellista……Nice Choice. Been eyeing that set for a while now, and since I’ve heard it’s a booster set, I’m hooked!! C’mon Trading Direct!! All I need now is the Fairlady Booster set and the Initial D set, and from that point in, it’s body shells andparts for me (unless I can justify buying another bit, which is VERY easy for me!!).

As for Mini-Z’s, I’ll have a look at what Trading direct has to offer. I’ve seen one in action, and this thing was doing doughnuts on the carpet and drifting around doors and stuff, it looked sooooooo mad!! I thought right then that I gotta get one! Thanks toAaron for the demo!

Nice to meet a fellow Canberran. :smiley4:How about this weather we’ve been having? Droughts suck! :smiley6:

Agree that droughts suck, but kinda thought you needed decent warm weather before we can consider Canberra drought affected.

Hmmmmm, wonders if Lake George’s dusty bowl would make great racetrack?

You will not be disappointed with what Trading Direct has to offer, and I think it is great that Aaron and Derek still get to keep their hobby.

Oops, back to work, bye for now.
