ausmicro website speed

  Why is it that almost everytime i try to log into this website it either times out or takes 5 minutes to bring a page up? I’ve got 1500kb/s adsl so i’m pretty sure the lack of speed is from my end.

  i’m running 128kb/s. and i’m sure it isNT my end. its from the server hosting i think 9 other sites and depending on collective traffic we get slowed down.

  yeh hype its not ausmicros fault the server there on is slow.. they cant help it.. we just gotta hope ther server is fixed

  Basically we’re ‘getting what we pay for’….
  
  I do have plans to improve this but it can’t happen overnight.
  
  The problem seems to be the server load not the network link speed. ie I just downed the site and downloaded/uploaded the Database and it was exceptionally fast file transfer, but processing web requests seems to take a while.
  
  The other thing is that your link to the internet and the path you provider takes to ausmicro.com can affect speed.

  Thanks for your answers. I wasn’t bagging anyone or anything, just curious to know what the reason was. I did actually think it was along the lines of “you get what you pay for”. But was unsure of whether others was having the same problem.
