OK, After a successful holiday where I managed to understeer teh Baja Champ into a pool of salt water at the beach I m thinking about some rebuilding – well I have to rebuild but….

Has anyone run something like WW2 wheels and tyres on a Baja Champ? Wild Dagger perhaps?

Also is there a range of resonably priced water proof recievers / ESCs around? Down to say a 14 or 16 turn motor?

Having drowned the poor thing twice now in it s life (once in a drain and now on the beach) I think this is going to be a priority.

Yeah – and me being Canberra based means that I don’t have the beach tempting me immediately…

It’s something that I think the Kitty will find interesting as well – considering we killed both our cars on the same day on the same beach, it was her turn to loose a drive shaft (I broke one last year) have you ever tried to find on of those things on a huge expanse of chopped up sand?

At the moment I’m thinking Wild Willy or Wild Dagger Wheels/tyres… a slightly gruntier motor and completely sealed electronics….
