      I know this has probably been done before but just keen to know for myself. I have a hand full of motors and just want to know if i got the sizes right. Any with :question: next to it I am not sure!

      White – 1.6/formula 34/something else (came in kit racer):question:
      yellow – 2.2
      Orange – 3.0:question:
      Black – 3.0:question:
      Purple – perf 3.5
      Blue – R-Spec II
      Lt Blue – perf 3.8/4.2 pro
      Cream – perf 4.2

      orange is a 2.6
      my 1.6’s are green I think, and my 1.0’s are blue
      black…not sure

      I’ve noticed it differs from country to country somewhat, so I hope I’m helping when I give you the following. This is from Japan, so it could probably be trusted for the bit-charge, but not the microsizers or compact charge (the three different names are all made by TOMY).

      L.blue = also a tomy 1.0
      Green = 1.6
      Orange = 2.6
      red = 3.0

      I’ve never seen a black motor.

      The 3.5 might actually be a typo for 3.8. Not sure on that one though.

      Clones have all kinds of colors.

      The black came in a Lxx modellista with 3.0 on the box but the box was open so not sure (from toyeast). Two of the white ones came in the bit battle set with 1.6 on the box. The 3.5 is definitely 3.5 but perfection not tomy! I have a red 3.0 but that was from a z-car! I would say the orange is a 2.6 then.

      yeah, you’re right about the motor colours hachi-ryoku. They’re the tomy colours, thats all I know. My white capped motor is a 3.8, not sure of its brand though.

      I have some of those white 3.8s too.
      The black Lxxs are definitely between 3.0 and 3.5, they are reasonably quick motors.
      The purples are 3.5s too.
