What s the difference between an IW-02 and an MR-02? Is it just the quality? If I run it stock, will it be exactly the same and only break if I crash it? Also, has anyone bought from “azzachaz” on ebay? He s got IW-02s selling for $90 😀

Seatbelt…..the PCB, from what i’ve heard, is slightly different. There are some complaints from IW02 and IW04 owners of some erratic servo problems….wish i could tell you more on that, but i don’t personally have an iwaver. I do, however, have an MR02 and the servo is just fine.

The plastic chassis, however, seem to be more brittle in iwavers, so it probably couldn’t withstand repeated head-on collisions without cracking. Again, i speak from what i’ve heard….

So would an MR-01 have better durability than a IW02?

no. the servo saver construct (on mr02, iw02) improves the realiability bigtime…..

I’m pretty sure azzachaz maybee aaron (site admin), but I can’t say for certain…..

if you can spare the $$, go the mr02. superior in many ways…..

      ph2t.

Actually, would an overland be better suited for driving around the house? Like it would be able to take carpet, etc.

dunno about anywhere retail in aus mate. I know some hobbyshops stock mr01’s. dunno if they stock mr02’s. your best bet is to call your local hobby shops and see how you go.

      where are you in aus?

an OL will take more surfaces, mr01/mr02’s aren’t good for carpet.

I sell on e-bay under “aaronmihe” and have no links with “azzachaz” who is simply trading on coat-tails with poorly written ads, stolen images and not much creativity.
