i got a bit of flooding last night, the pond in the backyard covered a third of the lawn. it’s now drained out to max capacity. a tree lost a huge branch and took out half of another tree.
the wind got big about three in the morning and we lost power for a couple of minutes (strange). i live near the easternmost point of australia, byron bay and was expecting 130kmph winds but nothing that bad hit.
very sunny today and calm, not a cloud in the sky.
a turtle turned up in the pond tho! it was a plus to see that the water had conected the pond to the creek for a couple of hours. i must have got a few free native fish too.
i’ve heard on another forum that the weathers gone a bit strange in the u.s also. things all normal where u at dt?

yeah up in brisbane we had a pretty good storm, damn hot one day, pouring rain and lack of power the next. Some people lost power for over 24 hours.

when i was staying down south in berry with my family a couple of months back we copped 140kmph winds, next door lost their roof and one person locally was killed. we had the power out for three days! the health department issued statements about food and water contamination and safety, it was pretty rough for a few days…
thank tomy for battery powered bits though… they saved us from death by boredom!

Weather is a bit above normal. 20 degreees above normal, sunny, no clouds, alls well here.
Wish I had your pond, got a Micro Sub I’m just dying to try. My son pulled his sub out from Xmas, now I play with it more than he does, in the tub that is, but pool season is just around the corner……….:D -
