      Hi all,

      http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/

Just wondering if anyone has ordered mini-z parts from this online shop ?

If so, are they prompt in processing your order, and do they notify you of the status of your order ? Items which aren t in stock, but you have paid for, do they follow up and send you the item once they get it in ?

I tried emailing them with a question on an item in their catalog and didn t get a reply, and am still deciding on whether I should place an order with them.

Please PM me if you don t have kind words about them.

      Thanks,
      Kevsta.

I’ve done some business with these guys and the stuff did arrive well packed and in a timely manner. However I did get some sense of not knowing what was going one – their communication or order tracking could be a little better.

Prices were quite sharp – however since a few people ripped them off (PayPal scamming) prices went up.

      Thanks for that Aaron.

I was wondering why they wouldn’t accept visa cards from people ordering from Australia & Indonesia but are happy to accept then elsewhere,

They’re prices aren’t too bad compared to other online retailers unless you know of a place that can do better ?
      🙂

I ordered some stuff from them about 2 weeks ago. I’ve sent them 3 emails and still haven’t got a reply (except for the initial automated invoice things).

Aaron – how long did you have to wait for your order to arrive?
      I start to worry after 2 weeks…

I need my frikn h-plates! :dead:

I think it was about 2 weeks. And yeah it did take a little bit of effort to get communication. However from what I could work out they tend to wait until they’re ready to send everything and then send it. That can take a few extra days in the process.

I don’t think these guys take retailing as their 1st job… probably hobbyists like us just making a few $$ on the side to support the addiction.

I didn’t end up ordering from them after I checked out the following forum http://www.rctech.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=e616000f5350b05bfb2a6ceea4718631&forumid=57

They didn’t have the stock for my order – so I waited 3 weeks for nothing. :dead: :dead: :dead:

Anyone ordering from these guys should triple check that they’ve got what you want – BEFORE you give them any money.
