-so check out the canabits gallery http://members.ausmicro.com
While at the mall this afternoon I stumbled upon some clone transport trucks.
They were marked down from roughly $30AUS to $10AUS [CAN/AUS are close to $1/$1]. Anyone able to give me more info on them?
They had 27 and 49’s so I picked up a couple of each. I might go back this weekend and grab a couple more. Aside from taking 4AAA in both the controller and the charger I quite like them. I really like the bit styled long wheelbase chassis…..lots of room for bigger dual batteries [it comes with dual]

leonli17,
Went to pick up a couple more today and they had few left. i did pick up 2 more. will try to post pics by tomorrow. If you’re still interested I’ll bring them with me.
On a slightly different topic I was to Wal-Mart this weekend as well and found NKOK Monster Trucks in two car sets reduced from $27 to $20. I thought “Why not?” and grabbed one. When I went to pay they scanned at $10 ($7.50US)! Fun trucks once ya get used to the tank like steering. They’ll even do cheater wheelies straight out of the box with the diecast metal body.

leonli17, I’ve added a couple shots of the transport trucks I picked up to my album. As I said, let me know if you’re still interested and I can pack them for the trip.
z-beam, I’ve also added a couple shots of the NKOK monster trucks. In packaging as well as one comparing them to the size of a Bit beetle.

Well, just started week 2 of the 3 week visit. So far I’m lovin’ it…though I’ve gotten a bit of a burn LOL
This week is pretty much shot for time as we have the wedding this weekend. However I have a few days next week. Wednesday and/or Thursday (March 3/4) are looking to be the best so far. I’m not sure how often I will be online but if anyone wants to PM their home # I can ring and maybe we can set something up. Leonli, you’ll be happy to know I had no trouble bringing the bit trucks through customs 🙂
We’ve got a big day planned with the girlfriends mum but I’ll try to check my message box tomorrow.

crikey!!!
i drive me one of them trucks to haul the crates of poisonous ants and flying crocodiles that shoot lasers out of their eyes.
i went to m.i.t.(merikan institute of truckin) to be able to drive my big rig!!
one day i had to stop at a pub(what the fuck do aussies call bars?) and after 5 or 12 foster’s lagers(what is good aussie beer?) all my ants started crawlin allover the bar and bit a buncha people and it was pretty funny.

my word it is Dave, tooheys extra dry is the best, way better than crown lager and JB premium.

bloody hell! sure, me and my mates sink a few extra dry cases a month, but the best beer to sample is coopers. red labeled sparkling ale. or the vintage ale (7.5 %!) expensive but extremely nice, if you got this you dont need to have cheap vodka mixed into your beer.:dead: thats south australia covered.
tasmania beers: boags honey porter. a rarity but it is one of the nicest beverages my toungues ever sampled, similar to the american waggledance beer but darker and maltier.
the best from new south wales is the malt shovel brewery A.K.A james squires, they do a nice pilsner that has an almost lychee juice flavor (awesome with asian food and fish). they also have a porter that shits all over guiness (cos it tastes as good and has good bubbles). but their (above) standard beer is the amber ale. quality in every sense, but never trust it out of a tap. Allways grab a bottle or two to get the most of a squire.
avoid at all costs queenslands four x, (XXXX).
it is absolute camels piss.and if your are in melbourne you are very lucky. carton black is my favorite off tap. but if you go into st. kilda on the main street on the opposite end to luna park their is the best beer shop in australia. they import over 200 types of choice beers from allover the world. if you do go there, have a rasberry or cherry belgian bottle and tell me what you think. it aint cheep ($7.50) but the quality and flavour are so unique and amazing….
anyway enough of my beer addiction. go and get some good stuff and enjoy!!:smiley2:
:smiley2::smiley2::)
