Short Term Pain?

  Hi EVeryone,
  A quick Poll to see how you’d feel about a few ‘features’ of the site going missing for a few weeks while I recode a lot of them.
  
  As I’m sure most of you are aware I’m working on the development of ausmicro.com version 3. We’re still a few weeks away from being able to consider changing things over but this wil probably drag out longer due to external pressures.
  
  What I’d like to know is who would object if I set a target date for the site to change-over to be fairly soon, and then bring back features as they’re ready?

  yeah me too. things are ok around here now, we can still do everything we need to like post pics in a thread. best not to run a “low fat” forum, it could turn new members away thinking that’s all there is:8ball:

  is this tiny text a part of thew version? too small i say! i got a big monitor (19″) but its still too tiny!

  Text sizes remain the same… If you want to see how a larger text size affects things take a look at http://www.mx5-act.org The site runs a permutation of the ausmicro code with a larger default text size.
  
  It is Possible in the new system to create multiple Themes that offer larger font sizes and have them easily selectable. In fact I’ll work on creating one today 🙂

  We rocked and rolled and we’re live with about 90-95% completion. I’m still working on some of the Gallery Settings and that but in essance it’s all good!

  Yes, For me its a bit like a windows operating system you will get use to it,Ive got the hang of it now…

  Will there be an advance on the 4 available themes…
  I know there were only 2 when you got it going this arvo, im on the green, I like it and the sterile very much so…

  there goes the rest of my day… i”ll be digging through here for ages!! Sweet!!!! Plus it seems i can type in colour now, never used to be able to before. Cool.
