      Yes,

There is no difference at all but read the info below and chose the spider you think is going suite you best, I would go for the lead version

And there is a Terminal block option for if you are going to swap motors all the time and unlike the lead version you dont have to solder wires on and of…

Read this for the Bare Board

I got the spider turbo + x-speed pro motor on a iwaver 01

the steering is all over the place changes direction when it wants and adjusting the pots is a no go , the steering will only point in one direction regardless of what adjustments I make and finding the centre for the throttle is just about impossiable, but when I get lucky and find centre and the motor stops spinning up at full rpm, as soon as i go back to adjust the steering of it goes again.

when I turn the steering wheel of it goes, it just won’t stop!!!! until the batteries are flat , this only takes about 5min for them to go flat by the way. the big issue is, it sounds like it will run like a bullet BUT zero control

if I put the stock motor back its ok – well kind of , the steering is still a little dicky.

      any thoughts???

sounds like you’ve got some major noise issues. Have you got the caps on the motor soldered on ok?

dude, i’ve never heard of a 2 wire servo, something aint right! there should be 4 wires going to the pcb from the servo.

my iw01 needed the servo pot to be replaced within 3 weeks, that could be it.8ball.gif

oops yes there are 2 wires going to the motor and 2 to the pot

there are 3 pins on the pot and 3 pins assoicited with the steering on the mainboard, this is where I tried a3 wire setup ( just to see if that would help, but stone the crows, no go)

anyway thanks, I’ll try some diffrent pots and see what happends

      cheers for your help
