well i started my convertible S2K last nite…so far its lookin good. I cut the roof and side windows out leavin a good gap for the seats. i got an old matchbox car and smashed it up, then removed the seats and dashboard. they fit perfectly in it, i just need to make it a bit thinnner so i can fit it with a chassis on as well…pics coming soon

hey lobsters how did you go about cutting the roof off? the obvious answer would be with an exacto knife but is there an easier way?

hell yes! for a cleaner cut, i use a saw. a small (hobby) saw will sell for $6- $20 depending on the source…
i got my small hacksaw from home hardware, i also have an even better one from a hobby shop.
blades are good for finishin up the job, and always have a decent selection of sandpaper for smoothing out un-evenness.
