Hey guys, got a new Bit Char G today (thanks rob), and ive got some problems. My steering’s gone all whack, at first it was fine, then the car fell off tables a bit. I noticed that it couldnt turn left, so I pulled it apart and fiddled with a bit. After about an hour of trying to put it back together, I finally got it working. However, the steering was backwards, I’d steer left and it’d go right. So I pulled it apart again and fiddled with it again and then it would constantly turn right. Can someone please help me to fix it up?

Could it be that one of the little coils that are loose? I think instead of the coil attracting the magnet, the magnet attracts the coil, dragging the coil over, putting the steering out of whack.

sounds like you put the magnet in back to front. there’s lotsa pics regarding the front end assembly sequence here:

make sure the fine wires (4) aren’t broken. good luck!:smiley2::8ball:

Sounds like the round magnet needs to be flipped around, centered and fixed in it’s holder with a drop of super glue.

before you stick the magnet back in place ensure that the steering is centred too… sometimes that magnet does not want to be right in the centre of that holder. You could wind up with 60% lock turning one way, and full lock the other way. Annoying… but avoidable. Hope this helps too:smiley2:
