      i was browsing my box of misc crap and found a old AFX slot car and was wondering if the rear tyres + wheels are any good for BCG .. as in are they grippy and stuff or is it better juts to buy a BCG tyre set

      nah i dont hhave the tyres from the tomy tire set.. i want to compare the AFX with teh tomy tyres from the set

      i only have the stock black tomy’s and the rubber seems to be a similar compound. the wheels and tyres don’t interchange, completely different size and shape. the axles on the afx are fatter than bcg’s so a little modding is required to fit them on. the teeth on the gears match with bcg gears too, see what you can come up with:8ball:

      Betty are you telling me you have never grabbed the tomy tyre set? The red tyres have HUGE grip.

      nah, i thought i did once, but i didn’t pay attention and bought the bit racer ones instead, doh!!:blush: oh well, i got some perfection ones with a super perfection car once, and most of them split! i don’t drive any bits with bcg wheels anymore so it don’t matter much:8ball:
