You can’t really buy them retail per ‘se. Your best bet is to by a micro rx car and rip the RX/TX chips outta them. rcmart.com or toyest.com should have several clone micro cars available for you to get the IC’s from.

Thank you for wour answer, ph2t. The matter is I allready have a car,but the RX2C IC has been damaged. I don’t have enough budget for a new car. Won’t any IC manufacturer company or electronic’s shop sell these kind of ICs?

Manufacturers like ‘RealTek’, ‘HEC’, ‘HLEC’ or ‘Pericom’ produce those ICs, but their websites don’t have a ‘buy on line’ service.

yeah, unfortunately these manufacturers are only in the OEM (original equiment manufacture) market.

do you need the RX chip or the TX chip? I take it you want the one in SOIC14 package format and not the ‘blob’ version?

I only need the RX chip, the one with turbo function (HLEC refers to it as ‘RX2C’, HEC as ‘HES3017’, and Pericom as ‘PT8A978P/978LW’.

The SOIC14 package would be fine. Sorry,I don’t understand that about ‘blob’ version.

      Thank you for your attention.
