she s pretty fast, packing 3.6V, 200mAh underneath the PCB.
here s a quick wheel setup so I can take it outside. The front rims are from those smartland tanks (toyeast).
OK then, here s a video showing just how fast this thing really is! It still needs a lot of fine tuning, but it s fun to play with already! Also in the video you will see a blue LED go on and off, this is me and my extra channel mod :)…….
This video is currently uploading as writing this, please give the link an extra hour since the time of this post before downloading. You need divx (http://www.divx.com) to run this video.

thanks fellas, the smaller front rims made hell for trying to keep it straight…. 😐
I’ll be transplanting the front rims from my other monster tonight and further tune the fucker.

It is definitely fast. If put a Li-Poly in there. it’ll have betterweight to power ratio. But they r pricy and the charger for them will be pricey too.

i looked at them on the site suggested in my thread about batteries, and it worked out to about 132AU for shipping of the battery and charger =

Here’s the battery layout…
I use an old motor terminal contact. just pull it out of the rear motor assembly and it’s shaped well to sit over the top of the original terminal. As noted on the diagram use electrical tape or similar to insulate the original -VE terminal from the new contact. It’s all spaced out on the diagram but it fits, trust me..

damn man thats quick!
had any problems burning out your motors with the extra voltage going through?
i did a tricell mod to one of my clones once and it kept on destroying motors!!!
i like how its stable aswell, well done dude

Looks good Ph2t, nice extra function on the light too.
Dont go over 3 cells, the pcb doesnt like it. If you do you will need to do a few power supply mods to protect the pcb from the 4.8v

thats fast man, i think you need a bigger area to run it but
keep up the good work. -

darn tootin’ I’d be needin’ a bigger area.
I’m having issues with my monster tires for the front end so I’ve stayed with the smartland tank ones for the moment. What I have done is add a 3 spring steering assembly to help it track straight.
finally the pcb is protected….
Once I’ve confirmed everything I’ll eventually clean up the shell and lose that hideous yellow…
