i heard that the 4 band controller has crappy range on them, is there anything i can do to make the range better? like a cripple compacitor…

add a telescopic antenna and that shuld give you better range. there is no cripple capacitator in the 4 band

I changed a 4B aerial to a telescopic and it made no difference 🙁

thats dissapointing micro amps, where you get the telescopic from ?
