Has anyone else seen the “Varta IC3” 15 min Chargers in stores.. I’ve seen it at Target and Harvey Norman so far..
$89.99 for a charger with 4 AA cells .. and $9.99 for 2 AA cells..
Sounds pretty good!
Anyone seen them?

No 4AAA charger there are only 2 AAA i think. The batts are made in china which i guess they might not be punchy enough.

Actually on the website http://www.varta.com
The specs for the PS6 15 min charger show:
Cell configurations
AAA 1-4 Pieces
AA 1-4 PiecesSo im guessing you can charge both AA and AAA’s four at a time?

You should know by now not to take things i say to heart…
Everyone should !!!
And what i was trying to say is that most chargers that charge AA should also charge AAA if they dont they are stupid…
Sorry Leon.

that charger can charge normal nimhs in 16 hours .. Ic-3’s in 15 mins .. if u cahrge ic-3’s at the same time as normal nimh’s itll jus charge for 16 hours instead of 15 mins..

So you go through life, just ignoring everything, being totally different to everybody else? Copying things here and there doesn’t hurt.

purchased a varta charger not impressed when they lead you to believe they will charge all batteries in 15 min when opening the packet i realise it’s actually 1 hour. So i returned it and purchased the energiser quick charger which charges in one hour and you can purchase 850 mah batteries for them aswell and i am very happy with my final purchase.
Happy new year Takata -

ive got this charger and have sanyo 900(japan) and charges them in an hour its all good from my end batteries dont get to hot…the charger itself has an in built fan to keep things cool i found the varta ic3’s got extremely hot and after the 15mins charge was finished the fan kept going till the batts were cool enough and shut down so turned out ok got a bit stressed there for a minute other than that im pretty happy with it
