Tried something new recently for clear coating.

      “Mr. SUPER CLEAR”
      “GLOSS”

Goes on smooth, and looks really good. Beats anything I ve tried previously. I ve tried a few off-brands and tamiya.

It s made by “MR. HOBBY”
I really hope it s available to everybody. The only places I found on the net for it are in other languages. If you do find it and try it, then I recomend puting it on slowly. Don t cake it on at point blank range. Too much may make some of the colors run. It seems a little acidic. Too little isn t good either, so spray at about 3~4 foot range in waves until the bumps are gone and it s one smooth gloss, not patches. I m speaking of puting it on over the paint. I do this on a regular basis to protect the paint job as well as give the cars a little extra glow.

I will paint another car soon and post some pics.

Is that the Mr Color range?

I’ve got their Gloss Clear with sparklies, nice.
The Clear also comes in matte & various colours too.
Nice range of paint, but hard to find outside Japan.

I think it is. I’m going on a trip soon. When I get back, if anybody is interested, I’ll consider sending some. If you’re into body modding and painting, then it’s well worth it.
