i just bought one so my phone can sync with my pc for phone book updating and file transfer. but while the 2 devices manage to find each other they refuse to communicate. best i’ve done is send a small pic to the phone.
basically whenever i try to sync the phone can’t be found. what the hell is wrong with this thing????:8ball:

      Hi there 🙂
What’s your mobile? Maybe I can help you.
I can sync my Nokia with my PC via BT with nokia PC-Suite.
Try to “find” your mobile with your PC, works better with me than mobile searching for PC. Then go to “my Bluetooth Places” on windows and add an incoming port and a outgoing port for the mobile.

(this is how it works with Nokia N-Gage, if you have also a Nokia I can send you a tutorial :smiley16:)

      thank you for the advice:smiley2:

turns out there was something wrong with the dongle, i took it back to the pc shop i got it from and the sales clerk couldn’t get it to work with any pc’s or phones either. most frustrating thing was the pc and phone both recognised each others existence but refused to communicate! (much like an old fashioned marriage really!):D:8ball:

won’t be long now before you start blue-driving. 🙂

I used to take mine in the car with me and while I was stopped at a busy intersection, send out a message to every device it could find. “look over your should.”
It would crack me up how many people you’d see looking around in the traffic.
