      I m sick of bending my car antenna when I carry my Z in my bag..

      But they re a bit $expenso.

      Anybody got any DIY rubber bendy aerial ideas?
      Anyone tried walky talky style antennas?

      they do look cool but i dont think i could spend dat much on a piece of wire with rubber around it.

      …i have absolutely no problems with a KYOSHO internal…you could do your own…their are lots of ideas around the place…

      Wouldn’t that antenna cause wind resistance that would affect the cars performance and handling at high speeds ?

      It looks longer and thicker than the original.

      Yeah the one in the picture does looks a bit too big. I tried a Kyosho internal and it was pretty good for around the house – but crappy for big areas like carparks.

      And those ‘ball’ antennas… well they suck.
