DOES ANYBODY HAVE A TAMIYA GRASSHOPPER II CHASSIS AND BATTERY COVER ????

I got a grasshopper II when i was seven. My sister fiddled with it and cooked the battery melting and warping much of the bathtub chassis. She refuses to repay me.

I have decided to restore it. I am about a quarter the way through the restoration process. I found a chassis at cash converters but they refused to sell the individual part to me. (They wanted 300 AUD for a box of broken rubbish, that happened to have the chassis)

I am prepared to pay cash for these parts.

      Thankyou.

No, im in tassie, but im happy to pay for shipping.

It must be in reasonable condition, with little wear, as it is a restoration job.

A few scratches on the underbody doesn’t matter too much…as this happens.

Do you have the battery cover?

      Thanks

Just had a look at it, it’s in not to bad shape except for some grinding at the rear, and a broken nose from high speed impact with a few gutters.

II’m uploading the photos to a Gallery, you can check them out and see if there is anything you want. Then make me an offer.

      The gallery is here:

and although it’s not pictured.. yes I DO have the battery cover.

Hmmm. Thanks for being honest, but im a bit worried with the cracks in the front and the broken suspension strut. It looks like you wanted tosell the whole thing rather than just the chassis.

      Thanks
