      i was wondering what is required when charging nicad and nimh batt’s. it seems to me that nicad can take straight voltage so long as it’s about double the voltage of the nicad you’re charging. but when i looked inside the charger for my dragon 1/74 rc tank (nimh batt) there is some complicated looking curcuitry. what’s that for?:8ball:

      That is probably the timer circuitry.

      You should be okay doing that, provided you exercise the same caution you (should) exercise when you double or triple charge your bit.

      It’s the lithium ones that you have to be careful of when you charge them.
