      more n00b questions,

      1. can you run 5 nimh in an iwaver 04 rig ? if so Q2, what is the onboard esc’s max voltage

      each cell is 1.36V on the meter after charging.

      Yes but 1 would need a Internal or external turbo to run 5 cells…

      Most cells are 1.5 volts and a stock board regulates at 6v…

      hey petewah,

      i know where ur comin from, alkalines are 1.5v each (sometimes more if you measure them outta the pack, i’ve had them measure 1.57 and 1.69) but the circuit rating has a built in tolerance for anomalies such as that, this is the basis of my question. Could we push the boundries of the 6v circuit to 6.5-7.0 volts.
