Hey all,
Firstly I oppologise for no pics but hey….
I tried this last night with a cheap $20 clone.
Using different substances, such as rice, milo (chocolate drink powder for all you non-aussies!), flour and sugar, i made a small rally course for my clone lancer evo.
The verdict….WOW this is so much fun, they actually hang the rear end out and kick dust!! Just like real rally cars.
-Rice grains are too large and beach the car.
-Milo is a lil rough but works ok.
-Flour is sweet, but gets everywhere (hey who cares it’s only a clone)
– Sugar is not bad, make sure its fairly fine.
As you would know this only works with BCG’s and their clones, not the Super Bit Char-G.
See how it goes and reply here.

A piece of black tape on the bottom of the chassis will stop spome of the crap getting into the car.

Why don’t you just get some sand?
-
October 15, 2003 at 3:31 pm #29012
Because milo simulates dirt, and flour simulates snow.

And once you are finished you can sweep up and make some chocolate scones, lol.

Might have to put on the chunky tyres from a Hummer to get some more traction.

Traction=Boring

makesure u clean the tires before u drive on milo and flour. then u can make food out of it.

Jamie, you’ve got me all wrong. What I mean is that the chunkier tyres will spit out more “sand” whilst drifting. Nothing like a good rooster tail flying out the back of your bit whilst doing donuts.

Ahh i get you, chunky tyres plus dual cell bit = fun fun fun!!!
If you put chunky large diameter tyres on it you can use all sorts of “terrain” like “rocks” and deep “snow” (flour)

i accidently drove one of my bits through oil!
olive oil i believe, it was on the kitchen floor and well yeah i kinda accidently on purpose drove through it!
the car just went through it but the rear tires were covered in it causing a bit of a slide out when i keep on driving!

Just had a brain flash, how bout one of those huge bags of chips that leaves the inside of the bag full of grease and gunk. they are pretty big so lay down 2 or 3 and you could have all the sliding fun in the world. you might get a bit fat also…….

lol. good one LILNismo. the salt in the chips might harden the rubber tires if u do it for a long time.

I reckon we could get Jamie Oliver or Ian Hughitson involved.:D
Then we’d really cook up a BCG meal.

Might need a FET modded Dual Cell car to mix all that up.

With bit racer gears and mini beaters for wheels, you could just do laps of the bowl and mix it all up.
Geez we talk some crap on these forums sometimes.
How did we ever get onto this?

I think you guys have lost it over here. “Cooking with Bits” the TV show:shock:
I’m scared…
Hey how about some chopped nuts. they could simulate small rocks in the dirt, and add good flavor too. 😀

How do you all think a Bit would go if you drove it in the deep fryer….it’s so tempting now i’ve thought about it.

I drove my Bit in the bath tub today. The bit drives around like Skateboarding. THen I put a little amount of water (about 2mm-5mm) in the tub and the car kinda like rallin. Next time I will put a small amount of sand in there.

Might heat up the barbecue so its just hot enough to stick the tyres….thenm again maybe not, its not worth a fist in the gob from the old man.
