i installed a 2.6 motor into my reg. bit and when i turn it would sometimes tip over. wut mod can i do to solve this problem, i also noticed that the inner rear wheel would not touch the groud when im turning. would adding springs help? or are there rear and front strut bars that i can add?:Dhowever my Lxx bit char-g auto modelista set with a 3.0 motor tends to be pretty stable………hm………

try a suspension set using the soft set.

soft springs would help and lowering the chassis and shell would also.

should i get the springs from tomy? i read QFM’s instructions on how to lower my bit, but i still don’t fully understand how to do it…and im also too scared to do any mods now, cos im still freaked out when i ripped my bit’s steering coil. i have yet to fix it back, if i could.

coil your antenna on the car up and place it under the shell, if this don’t work consider getting both a tire kit and tomy suspension set.
2more ways to fix: champagne bottels have lead wrappers, these are thin sheets of lead. you can use it to lower the center of gravity of your car without interfering with the magnetic steering/propulsion systems. smooth and glue layer by layer onto the bottom of the chassis. NOT to much tho, you will hinder your bits accel. but in corners the extra weight (if you have enough speed) will carry you through.
2: remove the white sway bay and carefully remove the tiny bit of plastic that stops the bar from being able to be reversed, reverse it so that the nuckles are held down intead of loose.
in a corner the reversed sway will stop the car from “tilt” factor.

QFm’s lowering idea sux IMO. i just shave new slots in the shell above the existing slots. or u can do the lowering tab method where u glue another tab to the chassis clip which thefroe lowers the car

another thing is that with the 2.6 motor my bit goes all over the place. it keeps on doing dougnuts, i was thinking, but im not sure, if soft tires would solve this problem.

i bought a honda S2000 bodyset and it came with the front guiding bumper, a normal bumper(i think for the back), and a tool. but i can’t understand the intructions in japanese, and pictures don’t make too much sense. Do u have one in english? and wut will the rear bumper do to my bit?

the rear bumper will work as a wheelie bar

*cough*pullback mod*cough* :smiley2:
that helped stop my bit from toppeling over. I’m guessing the wheelie bar/bumper thing would do the same. I just never could get over the look, hard to make it look good unless you’re doing a drag car. But that’s just my opinion, I’m sure there’s others out there that look great and I just haven’t seen em yet.
betta recognize… uh huh 🙂
