Burncity MiniZ – May large track event, Sat May 22nd 2010, Templestowe, Melbourne

Date: Saturday May 22nd 2010
Time: 18:00 setup, 19:00-22:30 racing, 22:30-23:00 teardown and cleanup
Venue: Templestowe Heights Primary School Sports Hall, High Street, Lower Templestowe 3107 (Melways Ref 33 C7)

Entry: $20 per racer (to help us cover hall hire costs for the day)

This is our 5th large track event. Please note that the venue and time has changed.
We’ve never had quite enough numbers to run stock/modified classes properly so it will be casual racing.

We have power on site, and we will be using the ilap timing system. New transponders have arrived so this time you will need to buy a transponder if you want your lap times counted.
There will be a limited number of spare parts onsale for iwaver’s and MiniZ.

For those who aren’t familiar with 1:28 scale tracks, this is a large track event using RCP tracks. This the same type of track as the Kyosho MiniZ GrandPrix Circuit

This should have been bumped a few times over the past week to get the attention and remind forgetful people like me.

some good racing on saturday night.. but just the regulars so we might move this back to a daytime event if we can find a suitable venue

we ran a 24 x 12 tile layout.. which works out to be 12m x 6m!

hype… hopefully the pic will be enough to change that “maybe make it” to a “must”!
