Carpet for a new track????

Trackside RC in brisbane north (next to the brendale rc track) ar currently looking at putting in a carpet track for 18th scaleand mini z’s. Does anyone know of an appropriate carpetthat could be used? We have investigated the CRC racing carpet but may not be able to get that shipped here from the states. Any other locally available sugestions would be appreciated.

I’ve been trying to find that ozite racing carpet everywhere and you just can’t get it here it seems. There is automotive carpet at some of the bunnings warehouse’s so if you can get some extremely low pile, fiberless versions of that or find the manufacturer of it.

Or you could try the Regupol stuff, they have Australian branch here.

The Melbourne indoor mini track was closed. But we still do the race every Friday night in our garages (2.2m x 3m and 2.5m x 5m).
