I’d previously fitted out my uRS4 with an old 29MHz Rx and seperate 1/10th ESC I had ‘spare’. Ofcourse this adds a lot of weight and bulk high on the chassis.

As the new body (Dodge Ram Pickup) is fairly low to the chassis I figured I’d better fix somethign up.

So I went and grabbed me a combined unit to suit 1/10ths. It’s not much bigger than a stock Rx and has a reasonably beefy (18turn 540 class) motor limit. More than enough for a 1/18th.

      Attached is a pic.

Pretty much. I suppose I should get off my backside and work out how to drive a “regular” servo with a Mini-Z PCB then all would be peachy! Extra light weight!
Actually hasn’t someoen somewhere already got that mod documented?
