I have read most of the posts under the Cap database but i didn’t find out how to identify and/or remove this piece. Correct me if im wrong, but removing the cripple cap increases your range? I have a lanver evo coming, and im just getting in to these little machines.

Images of the top-mounted capacitor – and how to get to it – are located at http://www.ausmicro.com/technical/bitcharg/transmitter-range-mod/index.htm

      Hope that helps?

Swiss – Don’t worry about it. Derek and the guys here are pretty mellow and laid back.

As for the Cripple Capacitor, like was already mentioned, not all Bit CHar-g’s have them. Check carefully, and don’t remove the wrong thing. 😉

Also, you can check at http://www.questformadness.com in their “mods” section for a couple of other ways to boost the range.

      (Sorry for referring “elsewhere” Derek… ) 😉

      Rob
