I recently purchased a 911 GT2 BitChar-G. It runs on a 27Mhz frequency on Band B and it is the only car in the area when i use it.
So far i have not touched the internal parts of the car.

When i am driving i experience the following:

[*]Sometimes the car will not respond to the controler, even with a full battery and only being 30cm away from the controller.
[*]Sometimes when i press forward / backward / left / right the car continues on that path for a few seconds before it stops turning / traveling.
        [/list]
For the second point i thought it may be the controller button getting stuck but this doesn t appear to be happening.

        Any ideas?

I have the Lamborghini Box set in 27MHz C and experience the same thing. I also have the Lamborghini Jota in 40MHz B – it’s not as bad but tends to suck a bit too.
Are all the Super Bits this sucky or is it the metal plate in my skull again?

Any Super Bit Char G mods anyone?
      😯

Fellas, this happens with the super bits. That’s why I sold mine! A lot of people have reported the symptoms listed above. Personally I think the super bits are junk.

The 27Mhz are the worst offenders, the 40Mhz aren’t as bad and the range on them is a lot better than the 27Mhz ones.

      ph2t.

a lot of radio gear is on 27 mhz (cordless phones, toy walkie talkies, etc) so that could be a contributing factor:8ball:

I have found that everytime I lift my cordless phone off the hook my 27MHz car stops. You need to press on the controller to get it moving again.
