depends what you want. i had some great experience with them till i pre-ordered a Nano dragon 2. massive confusion trying to cancel some of my order and keep the rest. they don’t speak english very well.
so to sum up i guess if you plan to make an order you don’t want to change they are good :topstuff:

I’ve bought from TE about 20 times in the last few years. They’re English isn’t great, and they can sometimes take a while to reply to emails – but overall they’re pretty good.

do you guys remember how long it took for your delivery to come and did you pay via Paypal
so far I’m felling a bit more confident buying from them…..:approve:

I’ve dealt with them for personal stuff (a few thousand $$) and for Wholesale (we buy stuff for our online store through their wholesale division). So how do I rate them? Not great, but generally honest and reliable certainly reputable.
BUT Don’t buy anything “pre-release” as they do tend to have deadlines for delivery come and go. Example iWaver 02 stuff – we were out a lot of cash for a YEAR until they refunded it…..But they did refund it
If you don’t want to risk it generally we will handle the entire process for you on any product they sell. We order it for you, get it into Australia, then you pay us before we ship it to you. Obviously this is not as cheap as buying direct unless it s a thing we get a great wholesale break on – but we cover all the risks 😉

I’ve got a fair bit from them too !!!
It has generally taken 9 day’s for delivery to me (where I live generally takes an extra day then most places) there service to me has been excellent but yeah, I’ve never made a pre-order with them so I cant comment on that !!!
Another good place is rcmart http://www.rcmart.com.au !! same thing, there email reply and English isn’t the best but I’ve never had any issues with them either…
But one of the best places I’ve dealt with would have to be here (Aaron, AUSMICRO) some of the prices may be a little higher then some of the other places but like Aaron said he’s taking the risk of the goods actually arriving and the service and delivery times if he has it in stock is second to non !!!

@diehard – i’m going to order an AWD chassis kit and an FM module
i was thinking we would divide the total shipping cost up by weight.
2 X AWD chassis – 2000g
1 X FM module – 200g
1 X Firelap F1 body (silver dark) – 150g
1 X Firelap Enzo body (red) – 150gtotal weight = 2500g
my weight = 1200g =48%
your weight = 1300g =52%registered air = 30.46USD
yours = 15.8392USD
mine = 14.6208USDyour order = 148.66USD + 5% discount (on AWD only) = 142.06USD
my order = 151.80USD + 5% discount = 144.21USDbringing out total to 286.27USD
…so, after all that the prices will be
DIEHARD = 157.8992USD
KLIMS = 158.8308USDif you find anything wrong with the math let me know lol.
as for the AUD price i won’t know till i place the order.
still want to go through with it? its only going to be about 7USD more expensive if you placed the order yourself.
probably cost you more in petrol to do a pick up lol. -

so now for the math…
2 X AWD chassis – 2000g
1 X FM module – 200g
1 X Firelap F1 body (silver dark) – 150g
1 X Firelap Enzo body (red) – 150g
1 X TAKARA Q-STEER INITIAL D – 400g
1 X TAKARA Q-STEER NISSAN SKYLINE – 300gtotal weight = 3200g
total shipping cost = 38.68USD (for registered air)diehard = 1300g = 40.625% = 15.71375USD
ph2t = 700g = 21.875% = 8.46125USD
klims = 1200g = 37.5% = 14.505USDdiehard order = 148.66USD + 5% discount (on AWD only) = 142.06USD
ph2t order = 53.1USD + 5% discount (on Initial D only) = 51.75USD
klims order = 151.80USD + 5% discount = 144.21USDTOTAL = 338.02USD
TOTAL FOR DIEHARD = 157.77375USD
TOTAL FOR PH2T = 60.21125USD
TOTAL FOR KLIMS = 158.715…which makes our final total = 376.70USD
if your happy with the totals drop me a msg or a phone call on ********** to confirm.
