Hi all, just picked up two new micros (at http://www.argos.co.uk). Known as Hitari Mean Speed Machines, they are made in same factory as ZipZaps but to HItari spec so they differ slightly (much better in most respects). Apparently Hitari supply Dickies, so there is a chance you might get these:D
I raced an Aus friend the other day and the results on on my site http://www.bonzergear.com/assets/multimedia/Hitari.wmv I won (but I also edited the movie:D)
Cheers

These look pretty good, I’d like to know if they are the propo ones or binary control.
:)uA
Edit,
I just found this, looks like they are very similar to the standard ZipZap.

Yeah it looks good. I like the ZZs too, these ones take a tri cell or LiPo mod without too much stuffing around, and fet modded, they absoultey scream. I hope they do sell them here, eventually.

What does the controller for these look like?
Just the 2 ZZ SEs so far VDM, but it looks like there is a few on the way to me atm.

Hi MA, the controller is below. Works through brick walls and works standard ZZ (giving them same range). THey are made in the same factory as ZZ, but they are slightly different (diff PCB and single coil/dual magnet steering).
Heres a close up of cars

-

?16.99 for the set (1 car, 2 bodies, 3 motors, three gear sets and 3 tyre sets)- batteries included.

Cool, thanks TB
The bodies look pretty good, controllers are a bit spaced out though.
Single coil and 2 magnets for steering, sounds interesting.
Thats not a bad price for the whole lot, so long as the quality is close to ZZs.
Any chance you could help me acquire one of these TB?

I believe that quality is better than ZZ. Pre-fitted with front springs, good balanced steering.
I shall see what I can do about getting a set for you. Give me a day or two.
PS Would you be the guy I send a BonzerMat to for a balanced review?
Cheers

Nope sorry, wasnt me on the bonzer mat review.
And just FYI, the newer versions of the Gen1 ZipZaps also now have a ‘sprung’ front suspension, works very well too.
PM me if you could get one for me, I’d be very interested.
Thanks,

I had a clone with teh single coil/dual magnet steering. It’s exactly the same as the normal steering. I think the civic body would look pretty cool if shrunk down to fit a bit chassis…of course, you would have to repaint it and everything but stil…

I like the ZZ scale stuff 🙂

ZZ is more inline with a real scale. Having said that it should be easy enough to chop the civic chassis down to bit size:) Should look something like the 206 when done.
