Nano looks cute, will fit in gent’s shirt pocket very nicely.
But still (1) no removable storage or (2) user-replaceable battery?

Do you talk much? Went from a T28/T39 to K750i (hello bluetooth, colour, cam, MP3, radio, T9 texting, joystick, java….)… and heck, used it for about 3 calls last 3 mths. Couldn’t even tell ya how the voicecall quality if ya press.

Brother just came home with one, 4G Black.
Nothing too amazing, still just an iPod.
Only thing interesting was how small the box was. His older one had a cube box size of a grapefruit; the Nano comes in a tiny box size of 2 CD cases stacked together.
(Heck, if I paid so much for a little tiny box, I’d be expecting ‘Tiffany Jewellers’ logo on it.)

i’d be impressed if you could play vids on the nano! only a matter of time before someone figures it out.
i’ve owned 2 sony ericsson phones and they have the best reception of any phone i’ve had before (nokia, siemens, ericsson)

sure does!
Was sitting at a cafe on Friday with K750i and a Nokia 3120 in my pockets. Must be some serious blackspot as Nokia lost all signal and the the SE was down to 2 bars out of 5.
Both Optus network so they must be accessing the same tower nearby.

Nano’s menus seems to run faster than HDD iPod.

Don’t think you can, there’s no way of getting it to run programs.
Suspect all the firmware is hardwired?
