Hiya, I got an iwaver 05 1/24 4wd mini monster truck the other day off ebay (as you do :-).
Needed a little tweaking to get it to steer well but its going fine now.
The thing is a little weak gearing and speed wise, on the smallest pinion gear it’ll struggle but just about pull the skin off a bowl of custard, but only just.
Its got a 260 sized motor in it, but I can’t find any info about the original one or for that matter any other 260 sized motors.
I’m wondering if anyone’s done the job already and upgraded their motor, what the boards will handle, what options there are out there for motors, and where to get them from.
I know, that for the money it cost (like $60 to the door) I’m not gonna get a fire breathing mini-z monster, but I’d like to squeeze as much value out of it that I can 🙂
