Iwaver MR02 ball diff issues

I’ve got this weird problem happening with my iwaver mr02 ball diff. No matter how tight I adjust it, when I turn one wheel the other wheel does not turn in the opposite direction.

It’s as if the balls in the spur gear are not touching the opposite ring plate. I’ve assembled and disassembled this the ball diff a few times, and can’t make any sense of this.

Could the balls be worn out ? I’ve never been able to get this ball diff smooth from when it was new.

Anyone got any ideas ?

does the other wheel not turn at all???

if it turns in the SAME direction, it’s still ok, maybe even too tight. I’ve never owned an iwaver/MiniZ, so dunno how tight they need to be..

if the other wheel doesn’t turn at all, maybe there’s some binding in the drive axles? Try it with either wheel.

Balls do wear, more likely the rings wear before the balls, check for grooving.

Other than that, I’ve got no idea haha
