Heading Off to KL next week, and just thought that on the slim chance someone knows any decent R/C stores around the city then they could hook me up.wink.gif

      Nah, nothing worthwhile there anymore.

(If there were I’d still be living there. tongue.gif)

Couple of odd small RC shops generally doing 1/10th nitro & electric, some 1/8th buggy.

Generally speaking RC isn’t affordable for the average Malaysian kid. RM2000 for a competitive electric setup is a month’s graduate wage – not too many workers can afford that today.

Probably find more choice & better prices south of the causeway.

KL is actually very expensive, even more so than Australia. I wouldn’t even bother. About the best you can hope to find is one of the hobby shops in Pentronas. He’s still expensive, but cheaper than any others I’ve found in Malaysia. Nikko Stuff is made in Malaysia. It is the cheapest. Everything else out of china and HK/TW gets a markup.

Singapore really isn’t in the running either. To get the good stuff, you got to go to HK, TW, Japor China.
