      Just out of interest,

      Who has had the quickest load time when loading a page in our new funkey revamped ausmicro site…
      I have had a load time of 0.234 is 1 of the l quickest i recall :smiley2:

      And I thought my regular 0.063 was good. The best I’ve seen is 0.047 tonight.

      Worst I’ve hard is about 9 seconds loading my PM index!

      very quick… hahahaha. I’m averaging .2 – .3 seconds at the mo, but it’s still speedy. PM access is not quite as quick, had to wait a whole second and a half!! lolxp1700.gif

      dave. there are pics from lithgow on rc/tech. goto australia forums then look for the on road challenge, they are in there. you got in a dozen photos or so!

      I was tweaking the Gallery display code today. I made a few changes before adding in the page views code. It started before mods being 0.064s to load. Then with it tidied up with a change to how it talked to the database it went up to 0.105s Chucked in the code for the coutner and it stabilised at 0.109s

      This varies depending on where you are in the list of users and so on, but it’s interesting to note that changing the code to make the database interaction more efficient (file is about 30% smaller) and the code neater made it slower!

      Yes I’m enjoying the timer.

      BTW my PM Inbox is now averaging 20.000s

      That’s fantastic. What database backend does this site use ? mysql or access ?

      Neither… The move to version 3 finally see’s us no longer using access but instead MSSQL
