I tried to install a Woah Nelly in my old LXX clone (pre iWaver).. but I screwed up the fet pads and it’s now dead in the spare parts box. Luckily I had a brand new iWaver tucked away… somehow everything went ok the second time around – and I’m now the proud owner of a stinking hot iWaver.
This thing rips it up. Thanks Ph2t!

It doesn’t look quite so tidy anymore though 👿

      love the stealth look!

all you need now is some holes in the front bonnet with some aluminium mesh…

It’s most likely not dead, I have fixed this problem of destroyed/broken pads lots of times.

All you have to do is trace back from the FET pads to somewhere you can solder a wire (thru PCB pin etc, and solder the wire to the FET stack….easy!

I’ve kept all the dead LXX bits together in the hope that one day I can save it. I sorta tried to trace where the busted pads went to.. but it was easier to just put the whole thing away and forget about it.
Maybe if I can ever be bothered to get some new fets for it I’ll fix it.

      Yeah BLACK RIMS!
It needs some “speed holes” next.
