OK People – the wait is over…. what are these things selling for?

I ve seen some prices USD220+ including shipping to Australia that seem “high” but what s the market like?

BTW is RCMart down or what?

…The half 8 ROX…I thought the 18T was pretty cool but the Half 8 buries it in the long term…The ONLY issue I have had so far with LOTS of bashing is…well…nothing really…The hex hub sux…they are small and tiny and NOT 12mm…other than that its a beautiful but extremely hard wearing platform…RC mart has sold me a ESC and a Hitec servo this week…Have to dance with the devil occassionally 😀

So the question is what kind of prices are people paying?

I mean if USD$220ish is a good deal then woohoo! If it isn’t obviously I need to look harder?

…the H8 is slow out of the box…You will need a motor swap, oil shox and bearings to start it on its way…The xspeed is fine for a start if you are still brushed but a mamba WILL fit…The car itself is STRONG…its also slightly heavy…I personally think its better than the RC18T but not in stock form…

i bought a half 8 from my lhs for AU$250. Quite reasonable i think. Definately needs more grunt. Will have to ‘invest’ in a brushless i think. Might nearly be quick enough then.

was hobbyrama in bris vegas. they only had it delivered earlier that day. if you are on the north side of brisbane talk to charlie at toyworld lawnton. he should be able to do a better price then that when he gets his stock.
