      hey guys. i was running my mini-z flat out around a hall and then somthing blew casue now i have NO i mean NO range i think its the TX casue i droped it early and when i switched it on i got that beutiful blow component smell. any ideas??

      so the smell came from the TX? you certain of that? when you dropped it something probably shorted out. then when you turned it on, whammo!

      take the TX apart and look for a blown part, or where the smell is strongest….

      If it came from the car, its a small RF choke.

      If it came from the TX, it could be anything.

      Buy a new set or bring or ur car 2 a hobby shop and let them check it out 😀
