I just purchased a car one that comes in the plastic bubble, i have seen them referred to as bullet OEMs, anyway I have taken it apart to check the axles and gears and motor and the colors of the replace ment motor i got with it. I was wondering if the colors on the motors mean different speeds or do generic motors just have different colors?
Same with the axles and gears, do the colors mean something

With the Char-Gs the different motors are colour coded. Seems they go from cool colours to warm colours the faster they go (blue through yellow to red).
What colours are the ones you have? perhaps someone here with a Bullet may know what speed your motors are from the colour.

Well there are lots of domed bullet type cars. Most of the Bensu bullets are slower then 2.6. Some bullets are fast and may be 2.6+. It really depends on which OEM car you got and what the colour on the end of the motor is (most times that can give you an idea of speed). Find out which bullet you got, you can start by checking http://www.toyeast.comunder there radio controlled cars or by checking out one of the reviews on clones either here or elsewhere. Just a warning, I have lost track of the number of clones that are actually out there now.
good luck and have fun with your new car:) What car did you get?

the back of the motor currently in the car is a light blue, I picked up a second motor before i knew anything about the cars the back end of it is orange but it has a larger gear and I have been unable to even put it in the car and test its speed.
As for what car? Not sure,it looks like the bullet st, but my dome had creasesat the top in it instead ofbeing smooth. as for the body, I don’t have it here at work and i can’t remember. Like a honda civic or something.
