      Hi,

      I just got a brand new mini-z MR02 and am having a problem with the steering. It was fine for about the first 5 mins of runningn but then it started to stop responding to my inputs. Ussually it will stop turning in one direction then be fine for about 30 seconds then stop responding again. Occasionally it will get stuck at full lock.

      All the linkages seem fine and all the batteries/aerial are fitted properly. I find that is i unclip the tie rod i can see the servo saver working properly but as soon as i put the tie rod back on it starts playing up yet everything feels perfectly smooth.

      Any ideas????

      there could be a tiny speck of dirt caught in the servo gears, you may have to pull it apart and clean the gears with a clean toothbrush. you’d be surprised how tiny that speck can be to foul up the servo! almost invisible :8ball:

      i’d say the same thing.

      when it happened to me i found a tiny bit of glass that i had missed the first time i looked, so make sure you brush even if you don’t see anything
