      Ok, finally got a chance to take some pics of my xmod. I know it isn t much to look at but it s all about speed! The iwaver shell is waaay lighter than the xmod one and with the windsheild removed it s even lighter. This also provides for some air cooling for nelly and the motor. The shell is still a bit rough, I had to really go to town on the wheel wells, the extended rims needed as much room as they could get.

      Mods done:

      Steering fix
      vxb bearings
      plasama dash armature in a ATOMIC modified can with neo magnets
      nelly v1.2 turbo
      iWaver shell conversion
      long guitar string antenna covered in heatshrink
      AWD kit
      rims “inside out” mod
      modded rims to accept mini-z tyres
      hard foam mini-z tyres
      kyosho yellow springs, front & rear (hard)

      Man. th is XMOD can kick some serious asses on track.
      just 1 question, what’s the cable ties on the front of the body(on the air vents)for?

      leon: the rubber holds the front nib from the chassis into the slot on the shell, I haven’t finished it yet so the rubber band is a temp fix….

      z: man, with foams, she’s purely an on-roader…

      kevsta: one more trip to bunnings for some pvc pipe and you’re on!

      cool! foamies. hey foamies drift good on waxed floors. luv the car man. ph2t, how does it feel to be famous? ur nelly is being mentioned in my home furom now(xmodrc). cool. im suprased ut D shaped stud of ur cups aint rounded off yet. i sure i already know about rc mart.

      how bout another “crappy xmod wid” between u and betty? that would be cool
