Well we’ve had an amazing run of MOSFETs over the past few years and I’m pleased to say it looks like continuing.

Looking back we started with the trusty IRF7389, a tough MOSFET that stacked very well, coped with all sorts of current abuse and served many many chassis.

Then we found the IRF7317, a lower resistance, rugged little MOSFET that couldn’t take outright abuse, but the awesome SI4562DY levels of performance came at an excellent price.

Then this year we’ve started with the FDS9934C, it’s brought back that rugged charm of the IRF7389 but combined it with the performance of the IRF7317. Sure they’ve not been as widely accepted as we’d have liked but we stand by our choice of product. The stacks we’ve built, and the customers who’ve contacted us after sale have all reported excellent results especially in their “rough runners” – the cars that run on varied surfaces, the Overlands and Monsters that grind over the terrain.

But now it looks like times will change again, we’ve been scouring datasheets and chasing suppliers to see if we can come up with the ULTIMATE MOSFET for the classic Kyosho drive electronics.

This time we’ll be doing more than trimming the resistance down a few milliohms, we’ll be SLICING it by a healthy 30+%. This comes with a leap in the constant current handling ability.

So we can expect a continuation of the rugged all-purpose nature of the FDS9934C and combin that will world beating performance.

This will mean you can elect to run a smaller stack (2×2 will now handle most HOT motors) or run the tradition 3×2 or 5×2 stacks and get the optimum in performance.

However it’s important to remind you that NOTHING will exceed the performance and durability of an external turbo (ie our Spider Turbos or the WoahNelly range).

Our revised range of MOSFET and Turbo solutions will be unveiled during August. All models will be covered, from Mini-Z, to Xmods and Xmods EVO, to Micro-T and even the new Iwaver O2M’s

      A.
