This is some pics of my bro’s new track, it is on painted concrete and a light spray of PVA glue mixed with water. The in field/track boards are 18mm craft wood and a strip of self adheisive foam stuck to the side to lessen the impact on the cars. On top of this foam is a strip of thin plastic film similar to x-ray material which is held on with double sided tape. This film helps the cars deflect when they hit the walls rather than grab them. Funnily when driving on this track, you rarely use reverse becausethe cars tend to bounce of the walls. The dimensions are 10 by 5.5 metres. The main straight is 1.2 metres wide while the rest is 1 metre wide.

I can’t wait Paul. And I see he has done the pit lane too. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

Got to love your 350 as well.

PH2T:- I have run around it with 3Racing tyres and also Kyosho AWD standard fare. Although the track was pretty dusty that day, grip was still fairly good. Being dusty meant you could throw the car sideways around the corner at the end of the straight and just keep the power on.

I’m serious man. But getting out for the night when you have a mrs and a 9 month old is a different story.

Again, how far are you from Melb? Drivetime wise?

      ph2t.

Its 1hr 45mins north west from the city. You can go up the Calder or the Western Hwy. My track and my brothers track are about 10 mins from each others. Mine is carpet while his is painted concrete. You lot are more than welcome, a night meet through the week or a weekend day, both would suit me.
